 Understanding Energy

What Is Energy and Why Is It Important?
- Everything in life has an energy pattern. From the smallest
molecule to the largest planet. Einstein said "Energy is
an essence of life that forms it's existence, fades, restructures
it's form, and then lives again". Doesn't that describe
reincarnation and the process of the soul?
-
- Where does this energy come from? Again, Einstein theorized
that all energy has a sound, a color and an intensity unique
unto itself.
-
- Example:
- Look at a flame, the brown or black smoke created by the
flame, has it's own warmth and sound as it travels up ward through
a chimney. The warmer yellow flames that flicker on the edges
of the fire and hotter reds that flow beneath them both have
a certain sound. The more intense blues that hover just above
the burning embers can whistle with heat as they produce their
glowing light. But the most intense part of a flame, the one
part that encompasses all the others, is white.
-
- Sort of makes you think about that Divine White light
everyone talks about. The Divine energy is after all the collection
of everything.
-
- Energy has several characteristics that we can recognize
and work with. It generates a vibration, which in turn creates
a sound and a color. For instance, when scientists talk about
the frequency of a certain type of energy, they are talking about
it's sound.
-
- Einstein also gave us a clue for creating energy. He said
"Thought is energy. To create it, just use your imagination."
To make a connection to the higher forces, you can use visualization.
You can imagine it happening and indeed you are creating the
energy gateway to make it happen. Have you ever thought about
a friend and then had that person call you? We make connections
with each other all time with energy and we don't even know it.
Why not make a connection to our higher spiritual mind in the
same way?
-
- Through visualization, you can hope for a thing,
wish for a thing, even dream about it and each of
these methods will put that energy out into the Universe to allow
it to manifest. But this isn't a new idea, doesn't the Christian
Bible say "Ask and you shall receive." Prayers, meditations,
even creative visualizations all work under the same principals.
-
- Just be careful what you ask for. You might get it. Even
if it isn't for the better or highest good of all concerned.
You have the ability to manifest many things. So take caution,
make sure your asking for help or assistance when dealing with
the desires for another. You want to ensure that what you want
is really what you need for your spiritual development.
-
Energy Connections
- Metaphysics teaches us that all things are interconnected.
We are all connected through energy. Our energy touches the energy
of the person next to us and to all living things around us.
There are varying levels of energy that we walk through each
day.
-
- Our own energy, the energy of those around us, the energy
of nature, the unseen energy from spirits, or events put into
motion. Such as walking into a room where an argument was going
on. You may not know what had transpired, but you can 'feel'
the energy through the tension or feelings that were being expressed
before you got there. This is all energy that we walk into every
day and typically never give a second thought to.
-
- By the same token, our physical being is connected to the
spiritual world around us through our own internal energy centers,
or our Chakra system. Through this connection
we are always part of the greater Divine Universe and we are
able to utilize that connection when needed.
-
"Feeling" Energy
- When we talk about 'feeling' energy in metaphysics we're
talking about using all your senses. Not just the physical senses,
but your energy or spiritual senses.
-
- Everyone on this planet is psychic to some degree. Some of
us are just more aware of these senses than others. But just
like you had to learn as a baby that a stove was hot, you have
to learn how to recognize your spiritual senses as well. There
are many types of spiritual senses or psychic
abilities, from feeling energy to seeing it, hearing it,
smell and tasting it. These psychic abilities are something we
all posses at varying levels.
-
Energy vs. The Aura
- All living things (people, plants, animals, etc.) are made
up of a complex combination of atoms, molecules and energy cells.
As these ingredients coexist, they generate a large magnetic
energy field that can be sensed, felt and even seen around the
physical body. This energy field has many characteristics, sound,
color and shape. These characteristics are what we know as the
'Aura'. Think of it this way, the energy
field is the source. The characteristics of that source are the
aura. We sense and feel the energy field, but we can see or hear
that field through it's aura (or characteristics).
-
Using Energy for
Good
- There are many positive ways to use the energy you create.
For yourself, you can use a quick visualization to protect yourself
from outside influences or illness. You can use it for others
in a method of holistic healing. You can use it through creative
endeavors and so on.
-
- When you light a candle for your next party, say a little
prayer as you light the wick and ask God, or your guides to help
you create happy positive energy to benefit the success of your
party. Nothing is trivial, and nothing is too big. You have an
effect on the energy patterns of the universe. As an individual
and especially as a group. So give it a try and do some positive
creating today.
